When filled they act as a support system that hold each other up. Giving it far more strength without. Even without the filler, the sheet can hold up most vehicles on its own. Eliminating things like slick surfaces and potholes. It even works with sunlight, that would usually beam done on asphalt and make it blisteringly hot. All of this is avoided with this method.
Now when it comes to the cost, you will find that it can cost at times half of what concrete cost. As well as, takes half the time to install too. Since it allows water and heat to pass through it, you don’t get the damage that comes with them. Making maintenance something to be forgotten.
With permeable pavements, you can have your driveway paved and have it cost less. While also providing benefits that other methods simply could not. It can also be used for multiple other uses. Like walkways or motor pools. Its design allows for flexibility in its use.
